DLA offers scholarships that offer a rare opportunity for committed people to study the language at this level at substantially reduced cost.
DLA, in conjunction with the Dutch Embassy, is proud to offer scholarships to selected candidates to study Dutch at year 12 level during 2015 in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia.
We are particularly grateful for the financial support the Embassy is offering our organisation, since it allows us to offer a limited number of scholarships to year 12 students of Dutch.
Victoria:-Students of year 12 Dutch who were not enrolled in year 11 Dutch studies at the VSL (Victorian School of Languages) during 2014, but will enrol for year 12 Dutch at the VSL (Victorian School of Languages) in 2015 either by attendance in Box Hill or by distance education if they live too far from Melbourne to attend classes on Saturday morning.
South Australia, Northern Territory, N.S.W. , West Australia and Tasmania: Students of year 12 Dutch who will enrol for distance education from the VSL (Victorian School of Languages) in Box Hill or will be taught by accredited tutors in their own state.
Approved Victorian students who will attend the VSL (Victorian School of Languages) in Box Hill for year 12 Dutch classes will have their VSL (Victorian School of Languages) fees reimbursed (currently $ 210).
Distance education students in Victoria or interstate students of year 12 Dutch will have half their current fees of $ 750 reimbursed, i.e. $ 375. This also applies to interstate students of year 12 Dutch who access another means of tuition that is accredited by the authority in their state.
